Privacy policy

When you access this or other Internet pages, you transmit data via your Internet browser to our web server, which is operated by "Clerid". The following data is temporarily recorded in a log file during an ongoing connection for communication between your Internet browser and the web server:

• IP address of the requesting computer
• Date and time of access
• Name, URL and transferred data volume of the retrieved file
• Access status (requested file transferred, not found, etc.)
• Identification data of the browser and operating system used (if transmitted by the requesting web browser)
• Web page from which access was made (if transmitted by the requesting web browser)

The data in this log file is processed as follows:

• The log entries are evaluated manually when needed in order to detect attacks on the web servers and to be able to react accordingly.
• In individual cases, i.e. in the event of reported malfunctions, errors and security incidents, a manual analysis is carried out.
• Log entries older than seven days are deleted.

The IP addresses contained in the log entries are not merged by the "Clerid" with other databases, so that the "Clerid" cannot draw any conclusions about individual persons. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and error-free operation of the website).

Personal data that you may send to us via contact forms, registration forms and similar web pages on our web servers will only be accepted with your consent and will only be used for the purpose stated in the forms. Please note the relevant information on the forms.

We store so-called session cookies on your hard disk, which are only valid for the duration of your visit to our website. These are needed to identify and authorize communication between our server and your client for the entire duration of your visit. Your settings for handling cookies influence their deletion on your client.

To find out how often our pages are visited, we count page views using a function integrated into our content management system (TYPO3). Counting is done via an invisible image that is loaded from our own web server when a page is accessed. Only the page accessed, the time and the language set in the browser are stored. No cookies are set, no IP addresses are stored and no user profiles are created; it is not possible to identify you. The data remains on our server and is not passed on to third parties. To the extent that personal data is concerned at all, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in designing our website according to demand (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

To evaluate the use of our website statistically, we use the open-source software Matomo. Matomo runs exclusively on our own web server; the data is not passed on to third parties. When you access our pages, the following information in particular is processed: the pages accessed and the time spent on them, the previously visited page (referrer), date and time, browser, operating system, device type and screen resolution, browser language and your IP address. The IP address is shortened by two bytes immediately (e.g. 192.168.xxx.xxx), stored only in this anonymised form and used to determine the approximate location (country/region); it is not possible to identify you.

Matomo is configured so that no cookies are set and no permanent user profiles are created. The evaluation helps us to improve our website and design it according to demand; the legal basis is our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

If you have activated the "Do Not Track" setting in your browser, your visits will not be recorded. You can also object to the evaluation at any time, for example by e-mail to the address given in the legal notice.

You have the right to receive, upon request and free of charge, information about the personal data that is stored about you. In addition, you have the right to correct incorrect data, blocking and deletion.

By using our web servers, you consent to the use of data as described above. This data protection declaration is immediately valid and replaces all previous declarations.

Due to the further development of our web pages, it may become necessary to revise this data protection declaration. We reserve the right to change the data protection declaration at any time with effect for the future and recommend that you read the current data protection declaration again from time to time.
